This Privacy Policy explains how FORTEZA CREDIT LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information of clients (“you”, “Client”) in connection with our credit repair, credit optimization and related consulting services.

By signing our agreements, using our services, or communicating with us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

a) Identification and Contact Information

- Name, date of birth, Social Security Number (full or last 4 digits when required),

- Home address, city, state, ZIP code,

- Phone numbers, email addresses,

- Copy of IDs (driver license, state ID, passport, SSN card, birth certificate).

b) Credit and Financial Information

- Credit reports and scores from credit bureaus,

- Account numbers (full or partial), creditor names, balances, payment histories,

- Collection notices, letters from creditors, settlement letters,

- Bank or card statements for proof of address or payment verification.

c) Login and Access Information 

- Usernames and related emails for credit monitoring platforms.

We do NOT request or store your passwords in plain text. If we need temporary access to a portal, you may provide it voluntarily and you can revoke it at any time.

d) Payment Information

- Last 4 digits of your credit or debit card, expiration date and CVV when you authorize automatic payments, billing address.

We do not store full card numbers in our local systems if a third-party payment processor is used.

e) Service and Communication Information

- Notes about your case, communication history (calls, emails, text messages),

- Copies of letters we prepare or mail on your behalf,

- Records of your consent, signatures, contracts and forms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

- Provide and manage credit repair and optimization services,

- Obtain and review your credit reports,

- Prepare, send and track legitimate disputes to credit bureaus and creditors,

- Communicate with you about your case, appointments and updates,

- Process authorized payments under your program and agreements,

- Maintain internal records, auditing and compliance,

- Respond to lawful requests from government or regulators.

We use only the minimum necessary information to perform these tasks.

4. Legal Basis and Consent

We process your information mainly based on:

- Your explicit consent when you sign our contracts, authorize us to work on your credit and provide your data,

- Our legitimate interest in operating a credit repair business in a safe and compliant manner,

- Our legal obligations to maintain records, respond to lawful requests and protect against fraud and abuse.

You may withdraw your consent for non-essential uses at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share your information with:

a) Credit Bureaus and Creditors

- To submit disputes, requests for verification or correction of information,

- To negotiate or clarify account reporting, when appropriate.

b) Service Providers and Processors

- Payment processors for credit/debit card or ACH transactions,

- IT, cloud storage or document management providers,

- CRM and communication tools used to manage your case.

These providers are required to protect your information and use it only to perform services on our behalf.

c) Affiliates and Related Entities

- Our affiliated real estate brokerage (Forteza Realty LLC) only when reasonably necessary, and when you have authorized a shared process (for example, when improving credit in preparation for a mortgage or home purchase).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

d) Legal, Regulatory and Safety

We may disclose information when:

- Required by law, subpoena or court order,

- Requested by regulators or authorities,

- Necessary to protect our rights, clients, staff or property,

- Necessary to investigate fraud, chargebacks or abuse.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to:

- Provide services and maintain your file while you are an active client,

- Comply with applicable laws and regulatory retention periods,

- Resolve disputes, collect fees or defend against legal claims.

After this period, we may securely delete, anonymize or archive your information.

We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse.

However, no system is 100% secure. You also play a key role by:

- Not sharing your logins or codes with unauthorized persons,

- Not sending sensitive information through unsecured channels when not necessary,

- Informing us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
